A delicious cranberry sauce perfect for holiday meals.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 orange, zested and juiced
Instructions
- Rinse the cranberries and remove any stems.
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Bring to a boil.
- Add cranberries and orange juice. Return to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Stir in orange zest and remove from heat.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Can be made a day in advance.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Add spices like cinnamon for extra flavor.
