Description
A tangy and sweet cranberry chutney perfect for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 ounces fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Rinse cranberries under cold water.
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and orange juice.
- Add onion, raisins, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, and salt.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until cranberries burst.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Store in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Can be made one week in advance.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
- Pairs well with turkey and ham.
