Ingredients

  • 6 cups bread cubes
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and celery, and sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in apples and cranberries; cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add thyme, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  5. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes with the mixture from the skillet.
  6. Pour chicken broth over the bread mixture; stir to combine.
  7. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
