Description

A rich and creamy seafood bisque made with crab and shrimp.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in flour to create a roux.
  4. Gradually add seafood stock, stirring constantly.
  5. Add white wine, bring to a simmer.
  6. Add crab and shrimp, cook until shrimp are pink.
  7. Stir in heavy cream, season with salt and pepper.
  8. Simmer for 5 minutes, then serve hot.
