Description

Coquito is a traditional Puerto Rican coconut drink often enjoyed during the holidays.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of coconut milk
  • 1 can of cream of coconut
  • 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup of white rum
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine coconut milk, cream of coconut, and sweetened condensed milk.
  2. Add white rum, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
  3. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  4. Pour into bottles and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  5. Shake well before serving. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less condensed milk.
  • Serve with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
  • Can be made a few days in advance.
