A homemade version of Taco Bell’s popular nacho fries.
Ingredients

- 3 large russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/4 cup diced jalapeños (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and peel the potatoes.
- Cut the potatoes into thin fries.
- In a bowl, mix the oil, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Toss the fries in the seasoning mixture until evenly coated.
- Spread the fries on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Warm the nacho cheese sauce in a saucepan.
- Serve the fries topped with nacho cheese and jalapeños.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, soak the cut potatoes in water for 30 minutes before baking.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- Store leftover fries in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
