Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup crushed cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a jelly roll pan and line with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
  6. Pour batter into the pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool for 10 minutes, then invert onto a clean towel.
  9. Spread whipped cream and crushed cookies over the cake.
  10. Roll the cake tightly using the towel, then refrigerate for 1 hour.
  11. Slice and serve.
