Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 8 ounces chocolate, for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the flour on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes to kill any bacteria.
  3. In a bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and salt, mix well.
  5. Gradually add the flour and mix until combined.
  6. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  7. Form the dough into small balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  9. Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
  10. Dip each truffle in chocolate and place back on the baking sheet.
  11. Let the chocolate set before serving.
