Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a round cake pan.

  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  5. Stir in milk and vanilla extract.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder.
  7. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until combined.
  8. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let the cake cool completely before decorating.
