Description
Classic bangers and mash is a traditional British dish featuring sausages served with creamy mashed potatoes and rich onion gravy.

			- 4 pork sausages
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the sausages in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
- Boil the chopped potatoes in salted water until tender.
- Drain the potatoes and mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
- In the same skillet, sauté the onion until golden.
- Add flour to the onions and stir for 1 minute.
- Gradually pour in the beef broth, stirring until thickened.
- Serve sausages over mashed potatoes and pour gravy on top.
Notes
- You can use any type of sausage you prefer.
- Add vegetables for a complete meal.
- For richer gravy, use red wine in place of some broth.
