Ingredients

- 4 slices of bread
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup of milk
Instructions
- Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Spread a thin layer of butter on each slice.
- Sprinkle a small amount of the cinnamon sugar mixture on each slice.
- Roll up each slice tightly.
- In a bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
- Dip each roll in the egg mixture.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt some butter.
- Cook the roll ups until golden brown on all sides.
- Coat with remaining cinnamon sugar before serving.
Notes
- Use thicker bread for better texture.
- Serve with syrup or fresh fruit.
