Description

Cinnamon sugar French toast roll ups are a delicious breakfast treat made with soft bread rolled up with a sweet cinnamon filling.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup of milk

Instructions

  1. Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  3. Spread a thin layer of butter on each slice.
  4. Sprinkle a small amount of the cinnamon sugar mixture on each slice.
  5. Roll up each slice tightly.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
  7. Dip each roll in the egg mixture.
  8. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt some butter.
  9. Cook the roll ups until golden brown on all sides.
  10. Coat with remaining cinnamon sugar before serving.
