Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, butter, eggs, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour, kneading until smooth.
  4. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  5. Roll out dough on a floured surface.
  6. Spread butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon over the rolled dough.
  7. Roll up tightly and cut into slices.
  8. Place on a baking sheet and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and water for glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
