Delicious homemade cinnamon rolls with a sweet glaze.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, butter, eggs, and salt. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour, kneading until smooth.
- Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Roll out dough on a floured surface.
- Spread butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon over the rolled dough.
- Roll up tightly and cut into slices.
- Place on a baking sheet and let rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and water for glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
- Use fresh yeast for best results.
- You can add nuts or raisins if desired.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
