Description
Delicious homemade cinnamon rolls with a sweet glaze.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, butter, eggs, and salt to the yeast mixture.
- Gradually add flour and knead until smooth.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll dough into a rectangle, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
- Roll tightly and cut into slices.
- Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar with vanilla and drizzle over rolls.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add raisins or nuts.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds.
