Description

A delicious cinnamon roll poke cake that combines the flavors of cinnamon rolls and cake in one easy dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 can cinnamon roll dough
  • 1 cup cream cheese frosting
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the cake mix, eggs, water, and oil in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. While the cake is baking, prepare the cinnamon rolls according to package instructions.
  6. Once the cake is done, poke holes in it using the end of a wooden spoon.
  7. Pour the cinnamon roll filling into the holes.
  8. Let the cake cool completely.
  9. Spread the cream cheese frosting over the top.
  10. Mix powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then drizzle over the frosting.
