Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Pour half the cake batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle half the cinnamon mixture over the batter.
  7. Pour the remaining batter on top, then sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Mix powdered sugar, melted butter, and milk to make the glaze.
  10. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cake before serving.
