Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Punch down the dough and spread it into a greased baking pan.
  7. Mix cinnamon and brown sugar, then sprinkle over the dough.
  8. If using, sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
