A sweet and aromatic cinnamon focaccia bread, perfect for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
- Add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients.
- Knead the dough until smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down the dough and spread it into a greased baking pan.
- Mix cinnamon and brown sugar, then sprinkle over the dough.
- If using, sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- This bread tastes best fresh.
- Feel free to add raisins or other nuts for variation.
