Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk and granulated sugar in a small bowl, then sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, eggs, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic, then place in a greased bowl and let rise for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  4. Mix brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl for the filling.
  5. Once the dough has risen, punch it down, roll it into a rectangle, and spread the cinnamon filling evenly over it.
  6. Tightly roll the dough into a log and cut into 12 equal pieces. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.
