A classic Christmas turkey recipe for your holiday feast.

- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups stuffing mix
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the stuffing. In a skillet, sauté onion and celery in butter until soft.
- Add stuffing mix, broth, parsley, salt, pepper, and thyme. Mix well.
- Stuff the turkey with the mixture and secure the opening.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan. Rub the skin with butter and season with salt and pepper.
- Roast for 3 to 3.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer for accurate cooking.
- Resting time helps the juices redistribute.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days.
