Ingredients

  • 2 cups mixed berries
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup whipped cream

  • 1/4 cup chocolate shavings

Instructions

  1. Cut the sponge cake into cubes.
  2. Soak the cake cubes in sherry or fruit juice.
  3. Layer half of the soaked cake in a trifle dish.
  4. Add a layer of mixed berries.
  5. Spread half of the vanilla pudding over the berries.
  6. Add a layer of whipped cream.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Top with chocolate shavings.
  9. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
