A festive twist on the classic tiramisu, perfect for Christmas.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup coffee liqueur
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Dark chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, vanilla extract, and sugar until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Combine brewed coffee and coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.
  5. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture quickly.
  6. Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers in a serving dish.
  7. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  8. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  9. Dust the top with cocoa powder and add chocolate shavings.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • You can use decaf coffee for a caffeine-free option.
  • Make it a day ahead for better flavor.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
