Ingredients

- 2 cups of flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can add festive decorations on top before serving.
