- 1 pre-made tart shell
- 1 cup mixed dried fruits
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine dried fruits, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, butter, and lemon juice.
- Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Pour the fruit mixture into the tart shell.
- Brush the edges of the tart with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.

- Serve with whipped cream for extra flavor.
