- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup frosting (optional)
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add egg, vanilla, and almond extract to the butter mixture. Mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix until combined.
- Spread the dough evenly in a greased baking pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
- Let cool completely before frosting.
- Top with frosting and sprinkles if desired.
