A festive roll cake perfect for Christmas celebrations.
Ingredients

- 4 large eggs
- 100g granulated sugar
- 100g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 30g cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 100g whipped cream
- 50g dark chocolate, melted
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.
- Sift in flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold gently.
- Pour the batter into a lined baking tray.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until set.
- Turn the cake onto a clean kitchen towel and roll it up.
- Let it cool completely.
- Unroll the cake and spread whipped cream and melted chocolate.
- Roll it back up and dust with powdered sugar.
- Slice and serve.
Notes
- Make sure to roll the cake while it’s warm.
- You can add berries for garnish.
- Store leftovers in the fridge.
