- 2 cups chicken broth

- 4 carrots, chopped
- 4 potatoes, chopped
- 1 onion, quartered
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the stuffing and fill the turkey cavity.
- Rub the turkey with butter, salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan.
- Add the carrots, potatoes, and onion around the turkey.
- Pour chicken broth into the pan.
- Roast for 3-4 hours, basting every hour.
- Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
