Ingredients

  • 1 whole turkey (1214 lbs)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups stuffing mix
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the stuffing by mixing stuffing mix, parsley, onion, celery, and chicken broth.
  3. Stuff the turkey with the mixture.
  4. Rub the outside of the turkey with softened butter, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Place the turkey in a roasting pan.
  6. Roast the turkey for 3-4 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
  8. Serve with cranberry sauce.
