Ingredients

- 1 pie crust
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup cooked spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup diced ham
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pie crust in a pie dish and pre-bake for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream.
- Add cheese, spinach, ham, onion, salt, pepper, and nutmeg to the egg mixture.
- Pour the filling into the pre-baked crust.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the quiche is set and lightly browned.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- This quiche can be made a day ahead and reheated.
- Feel free to substitute ingredients to your taste.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
