- Red sprinkles: 1/4 cup (about 30 g)
- Green sprinkles: 1/4 cup (about 30 g)
- Peppermint extract: 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
- All-purpose flour: 2 cups
- Active dry yeast: 1 packet
- Sugar: 1 tablespoon
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Warm water: 3/4 cup
- Baking soda: 1/4 cup
- Egg: 1 (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Gradually add warm water and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Divide the dough into small pieces, roll into ropes, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Boil 4 cups of water and add baking soda. Boil pretzel bites for about 30 seconds, then remove with a slotted spoon.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place boiled pretzel bites on the sheet and brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Dip each pretzel bite halfway into melted white chocolate and sprinkle with red and green sprinkles. Let set until chocolate hardens.
