A festive lasagna perfect for Christmas gatherings.
Ingredients

- 12 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with half of the Parmesan cheese.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
- Add half of the ground beef mixture on top.
- Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers, finishing with noodles, sauce, and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Let lasagna sit for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Use a mix of cheeses for added flavor.
- Can be made a day ahead and refrigerated before baking.
