- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 2 cups stuffing
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 cups gravy
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 pound green beans
- 2 cups roasted carrots
- 1 pumpkin pie
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by seasoning it with salt and pepper.
- Stuff the turkey with stuffing.
- Roast the turkey in the oven for about 3 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- While the turkey is roasting, boil the potatoes until tender, then mash them with butter and cream.
- Prepare the gravy using turkey drippings.
- Steam the green beans and roast the carrots in the oven.
- Serve the meal with cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie for dessert.
Notes
- Let the turkey rest for 30 minutes before carving.
- You can substitute the turkey with ham if preferred.
