- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 2 cups stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup gravy
- 2 cups green beans
- 1 cup roasted carrots
- 1 pumpkin pie
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the turkey by removing giblets and rinsing it.
- Stuff the turkey with stuffing mix.
- Place turkey in a roasting pan and brush with melted butter.
- Pour chicken broth around the turkey.
- Roast the turkey for about 3 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- While the turkey cooks, prepare mashed potatoes and gravy.
- Steam green beans and roast carrots in the oven.
- Once the turkey is done, let it rest for 30 minutes before carving.
- Serve with cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie for dessert.
