Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 3 to 4 tablespoons milk
- Royal icing for decoration

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the butter mixture.
- Gradually blend in the flour mixture.
- Stir in milk until dough is soft.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into shapes.
- Place cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Let cookies cool before decorating with royal icing and toppings.
