  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
  6. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
  8. Let cookies cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  9. Mix confectioners’ sugar and milk to make icing, add food coloring.
  10. Decorate cooled cookies with icing and let set.
