Chocolate Spider Cookies are fun, spooky treats perfect for Halloween.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup pretzel sticks
- 1 cup candy eyes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Once cooled, add pretzel sticks for legs and candy eyes on top.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- Use different candies for decoration if desired.
