Ingredients
Scale
- 200g dark chocolate
- 100g butter
- 3 eggs
- 100g sugar
- 200ml heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a bowl over simmering water.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.
- Fold the melted chocolate into the egg mixture.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a cake mold and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Once set, remove from mold and serve chilled.
Notes
- Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor.
- Make sure the bowl for melting chocolate is not touching the water.
- Allow the cake to chill overnight for better texture.
