Delicious chocolate cinnamon rolls with a rich chocolate filling and a hint of cinnamon.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well.
- In another bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture. Knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread chocolate chips evenly on top.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- These rolls freeze well.
- Drizzle with icing for extra sweetness.
