Description
Delicious chocolate chip cookie dough truffles made with edible cookie dough and coated in chocolate.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate, for coating
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the flour on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes to kill any bacteria.
- In a bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Add vanilla extract and salt, and mix well.
- Gradually add flour and mix until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Chill the cookie dough balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip each chilled dough ball into the melted chocolate, coating completely.
- Place back on the baking sheet and chill until set.
Notes
- Store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge.
- For a different flavor, add nuts or change the type of chocolate.
