Delicious chocolate chip cookie dough truffles made with edible cookie dough and coated in chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate, for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the flour on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes to kill any bacteria.
  3. In a bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  4. Add vanilla extract and salt, and mix well.
  5. Gradually add flour and mix until combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Roll the dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
  8. Chill the cookie dough balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  9. Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
  10. Dip each chilled dough ball into the melted chocolate, coating completely.
  11. Place back on the baking sheet and chill until set.

  • Store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge.
  • For a different flavor, add nuts or change the type of chocolate.
