  • Granulated sugar: ¾ cup (150 g)
  • Eggs: 2 large
  • Unsalted butter: ½ cup (115 g), melted
  • Baking soda: 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
  • Chocolate chips: 1 cup (175 g), semi-sweet or dark
  • Salt: ¼ teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add melted butter to the mashed bananas and mix well. Then add sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract, stirring until combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips gently until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
