Ingredients
Scale
- 500g glutinous rice flour
- 300ml water
- 200g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Red food coloring
- Yellow food coloring
- Black sesame seeds
Instructions
- Mix glutinous rice flour and sugar in a bowl.
- Add water and vanilla extract, and stir until smooth.
- Divide the mixture into three bowls.
- Color one bowl red, one yellow, and leave one plain.
- Grease a rooster-shaped mold.
- Layer the colored mixtures into the mold, starting with red, then yellow, and finally plain.
- Steam the cake for 45 minutes.
- Let cool before removing from the mold.
- Decorate with black sesame seeds for eyes.

- Ensure the mold is well-greased to prevent sticking.
- Adjust sugar based on your sweetness preference.
