Description
A festive food setup for Chinese New Year celebrations.
Ingredients
- Rice – 2 cups
- Chicken – 1 kg
- Vegetables (carrots, bell peppers) – 500 grams
- Soy sauce – 1/4 cup
- Ginger – 2 tablespoons
- Garlic – 2 tablespoons
- Spring onions – 1 bunch
- Sesame oil – 2 tablespoons
- Chili flakes – 1 teaspoon
- Peanuts – 100 grams
Instructions
- Wash and cook the rice according to package instructions.
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat sesame oil in a pan.
- Add ginger and garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
- Add chicken and cook until browned.
- Add vegetables and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
- Pour in soy sauce and chili flakes, mix well.
- Serve chicken stir-fry over rice.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and peanuts.

- Adjust the spice level according to your taste.
- Use leftover chicken for a quicker meal.
