Description
Traditional Chinese New Year dumplings filled with meat and vegetables.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1/2 cup chopped cabbage
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Mix flour and water to form a dough.
- Knead the dough for 10 minutes.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Combine pork, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Roll the dough into small circles.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
- Boil water in a pot and add dumplings.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes or until they float.
- Serve hot with dipping sauce.
Notes
- You can use chicken or beef instead of pork.
- Adjust the filling according to your taste.
- Serve with soy sauce or vinegar for dipping.
