Ingredients

  • Glutinous rice flour – 2 cups
  • Water – 1 1/2 cups
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Red bean paste – 1 cup
  • Coconut milk – 1 cup
  • Sesame seeds – 1/4 cup
  • Fresh fruits for garnish – optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare a steaming pot with water.
  2. In a bowl, mix glutinous rice flour and water until smooth.
  3. Add sugar and coconut milk to the mixture. Stir well.
  4. Grease a cake pan and pour half of the batter into it.
  5. Spread red bean paste evenly over the batter.
  6. Pour the remaining batter on top.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  8. Steam for 30-40 minutes until cooked through.
  9. Let it cool before slicing.
  10. Garnish with fresh fruits if desired.

Notes

  • Ensure the water in the steaming pot does not dry out.
  • Adjust sugar based on personal preference.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
