- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped

- 1 can diced tomatoes (15 oz)
- 1 can kidney beans (15 oz)
- 2 tablespoons chili powder

Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic; cook until softened.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve hot with your choice of toppings.

- Adjust the spice level by adding more chili powder or hot sauce.
