Description
A simple and delicious chili recipe made in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans (15 oz each) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until soft.
- Transfer the beef mixture to the crockpot.
- Add kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more chili powder or peppers.
- Can be topped with cheese or sour cream before serving.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
