Description
A spicy and flavorful salsa made from dried chile de arbol peppers.
Ingredients

- 10 dried chile de arbol peppers
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 1/2 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Remove stems and seeds from the chile de arbol peppers.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the chiles and toast for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add tomatoes, onion, and garlic to the pan.
- Cook for another 5 minutes until vegetables soften.
- Add water and bring to a simmer.
- Blend the mixture until smooth.
- Season with salt and adjust to taste.
Notes
- Store in a jar in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Use fresh ingredients for better flavor.
- Adjust the number of chiles for desired heat level.
