Description
Crispy and flavorful chicken schnitzel made in an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Flatten chicken breasts using a meat mallet.
- Season flour with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder.
- Dip each chicken breast in flour, then in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Spray both sides of the breaded chicken with cooking spray.
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
- Check internal temperature; it should be 165°F (75°C).
Notes
- Serve with lemon wedges.
- Pair with a side salad or mashed potatoes.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
