Description

Crispy and flavorful chicken schnitzel made in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Flatten chicken breasts using a meat mallet.
  3. Season flour with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder.
  4. Dip each chicken breast in flour, then in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Spray both sides of the breaded chicken with cooking spray.
  6. Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
  8. Check internal temperature; it should be 165°F (75°C).

Notes
