Ingredients

- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sausage and brown on all sides.
- Remove sausage and set aside.
- Add chicken thighs and breasts to the skillet, cooking until browned.
- Remove chicken and set aside with sausage.
- Add onions, bell peppers, and garlic to the skillet; sauté until soft.
- Return chicken and sausage to the skillet.
- Add chicken broth, white wine, and red pepper flakes.
- Simmer for 30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
Notes
- Serve with crusty bread for dipping.
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- Can substitute chicken thighs for drumsticks.
