Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sausage and brown on all sides.
  3. Remove sausage and set aside.
  4. Add chicken thighs and breasts to the skillet, cooking until browned.
  5. Remove chicken and set aside with sausage.
  6. Add onions, bell peppers, and garlic to the skillet; sauté until soft.
  7. Return chicken and sausage to the skillet.
  8. Add chicken broth, white wine, and red pepper flakes.
  9. Simmer for 30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  10. Season with salt and pepper before serving.

Notes
