Description

A delicious chicken pot pie crescent braid that combines tender chicken, vegetables, and creamy sauce wrapped in flaky crescent dough.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix chicken, vegetables, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it out on a baking sheet.
  4. Cut slits on each side of the dough, leaving the center intact.
  5. Spoon the chicken mixture down the center of the dough.
  6. Braid the dough over the filling by folding the strips alternately.
  7. Brush the top with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
