A delicious chicken parmesan sandwich with crispy chicken and rich marinara sauce.
Ingredients

- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese
- 2 sandwich rolls
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dredge chicken in flour, dip in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs mixed with parmesan.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes each side.
- Place fried chicken on a baking sheet.
- Top each piece with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Toast sandwich rolls.
- Assemble sandwiches with chicken and toppings of choice.
