- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes, until cooked through.
- Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until cheese is melted.
Notes
- Serve with pasta or crusty bread.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- You can freeze uncooked meatballs for later use.
